Sowing seed

For the best results apply a balanced fertilizer, such as Growmore about a week before sowing
Plant seed in two drills 2" deep and 9" apart with 24" between each set of 2 drills.

Crop care

Hoe regularly and water in dry weather. Pinch off the top 3" of stem as soon as the first beans start to form. This will ensure an earlier harvest ad provide \ degree of blackfly control. Crops should be sprayed with a blackfly pesticide if attacks persist.
